Every swing is 80% into the pot and 20% $WHACK bought and burned. Hold enough $WHACK and you swing the big hammer: aim at an empty hole and it catches a mole next door. On day 3 every hole is up for an hour. On day 7 the top whacker takes the rest of the pot.
